Senior Software Engineer - OGL66

Reports to company headquarters in Irving, TX.Work as Sr. Software Developer and develop applications with cross platform technologies like JAVA & Python.Leverage experience and knowledge of complex retail supply chain systems and applications to design, develop & deploy future ready cloud based solutions.Design & develop multiple cloud based applications supporting the supply chain systems. Understand the existing legacy applications and business process and provide the technical consultancy for the enhancement needed as per the new requirements/upgrades.

Monitor the application real-time status and data analysis using multiple tools and databases like Oracle, IBM DB2, Teradata, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana ,etc.Cross pair and work with other teams to understand the complete business flow and accomplish the goals as per the business requirement.Advise and implement Change Management wherever needed.Participate in Pair Programming and Agile chores like Spring Planning, Story Grooming, Story Time and Retrospective and provide valuable feedback as necessary.Ensure to follow company set tech stack and follow best practices in code development, application security and reliable performance.Use knowledge of software development processes and project management methodologies to deploy and deliver the requirements of the projects.Perform and provide guidance on exhaustive Unit and Integrations testing, maintain detailed project and process documentations. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related, and Seven (7) years of experience designing and developing information systems, or related. Seven (7) years of required experience designing and developing information systems or related must include: 4 years of experience in Spring Framework, Spring Boot and Spring Batch. Experience must also include: Retail - Supply Chain systems, Inventory Planning and Replenishment; Agile Scrum & Agile XP models with Agile Project Management methodologies such as Pair Programming, Spring Planning, Story Time and Retrospective; Objected Oriented Programming Languages such as Java 8, Python; Code Management and Versioning tools such as Github; Database programming using SQL/No SQL which includes Oracle, DB2 and Mongo DB Systems; Batch Job scheduling and monitoring tools such as IBM Maestro, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, etc; Experience with Cloud technologies such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Google Cloud Platform, etc.; and BTEQ job development and monitoring and experience on Teradata database.Reports to company headquarters in Irving TX. Will work at various unknown client sites throughout the U.S. for up to 100% of the time. Must be willing to travel anywhere in the U.S. and may be assigned to work at client sites across the U.S. Can work remotely or telecommute.
