Software Engineer - OGL60
Work as a .Net Full Stack Developer and lead projects involving latest Microsoft technologies such as Visual Studio 2019, Web APIs, Azure DevOps, SSIS, SSRS.Leverage experience and knowledge of complex IT systems and applications to design, architect & deploy future ready cloud based .Net, SSIS and Web APIs solutions.Develop application code following the requirements, technical specifications and system design that adheres to the business process design and application requirements. Design and develop ETL packages using SSIS to load data from different system to Operational Data Store. Create SSRS reports used by various business teams for different business purposes. Create automated unit test cases, executing unit and component integration tests and documenting results in conjunction with company’s Life’s Quality Enablement team or company’s internal team as specified. Lead a team of consultants and guide them for the deliverables in Implementation and Support.
Ensure reusability of existing assets for cost reduction & improved efficiency.Design and code reviews; Perform peer review to make sure the implementation is meeting the standards defined.
Provide Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment using Microsoft Azure DevOps software with the inbuild test cases.Participate in AGILE ceremonies such as daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, retrospective meetings and product backlog refinement.Ensure reusability of existing assets for cost reduction & improved efficiency. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related, and nine (9) years of experience designing and developing information systems, or related.Nine (9) years of experience designing and developing information systems, or related must include: Full stack .NET development; Multitenant architecture, challenges and best practices; Object-oriented programming; HTML 5, ReactJS, .Net, C#, C#.Net, VB.NET, ASP.NET, MVC 5/6, Entity Framework, Web APIs, UIs; Angular 1 & 2, Node Js, .NET Core, Xamarin, Soap UI; MVC Framework, Entity Framework, Web API development; Build CI/CD using TFS; VS Code, Microsoft Visual Studio 2019, 2017, 2015, 2013; Microsoft SQL Server 2016, 2014, 2008, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) 2016; SQL Server Reporting services (SSRS) 2016; Microsoft Azure; Git and Eclipse, Azure DevOps, control-M knowledge; Dependency Injection technique; Windows Authentication, Form Authentication, OAuth; Actuarial tools such as PolySystems, Axis, ResQ; and Actuarial Projection and Valuation models.Reports to company headquarters in Irving TX. Will work at various unknown client sites throughout the U.S. for up to 100% of the time. Must be willing to travel anywhere in the U.S. and may be assigned to work at client sites across the U.S. Can work remotely or telecommute.
