Enterprise Application Architect - OGL90

Reports to company headquarters in Irving, TX. Understanding of reference/master data in the capital markets domain. Liaise with the Solution Architects, Application Developers and Testers to ensure they understand the functional requirements of the systems. Experience in capturing requirements related to internal/external consulting, documenting, and mapping current business process. Demonstrate competence in thinking strategically, analytically, conceptually, and innovatively, including the ability to synthesize and analyze data. Ability to drive conversation with business teams with minimal support from peers. Work with all key stakeholders to capture technical /functional details for designing customized solutions for Fund Accounting Application. Use knowledge of financial domain (banking and finance) to design and develop accounting systems for exchange and OTC traded securities. Perform data mining using Sybase/MS Office Suite to analyze, identify and assess data attributes in order to develop recommendations and creative solutions that improve operations and support their organization's business objectives. Collaborate with user groups in Fund Accounting, Trade Compliance and Account Management functions to create project plans, and get stakeholder sign offs. Leverage experience and knowledge of complex IT systems and applications to design, architect & deploy future ready enterprise solutions. Review existing business process and provide technical consultancy for the enhancements needed as per new business requirements. Suggest new business process models to simplify and improve the existing business processes. Champion data security and privacy practices in Collateral Management landscape, and develop, deploy and support data security. Lead projects using Applications Management competency and Project Management competency skills to take ideas from inception to delivery, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and scope. Advise and implement Change Management wherever needed. Lead a team of developers and guide them for the deliverables in Implementation and Support. Ensure Reusability of existing assets for cost reduction & improved efficiency. Use knowledge of software development processes and project management methodologies to deploy and deliver the requirements of the projects. Perform and provide guidance on exhaustive Unit and Integrations testing, maintain detailed project and process documentations. Ensure delivery of quality artifacts by adhering to the industry’s best practices. Provide application support to user groups in Fund Accounting, Account Managements, Operations, Transitions, and Trade Compliance functions. REQUIREMENTS:  Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Technology, or related, and Five (5) years of Capital Market Domain experience. Five (5) years of required Capital Market Domain experience must include: Five (5) years of Business Analyst/Project Management experience. Experience must also include: Equities, fixed income, commodities, derivatives, FX markets, investment banking, trading, clearing, settlement, and investment risks; Architectural, design and leadership experience; Experience in IT systems and applications; Experience with Sybase and MS Office Suite; and Experience in creating requirement specifications based on architecture/design/detailing of processes.

Reports to company headquarters in Irving TX. Will work at various unknown client sites throughout the U.S. for up to 100% of the time. Must be willing to travel anywhere in the U.S. and may be assigned to work at client sites across the U.S. Can work remotely or telecommute.

EOE. 8AM to 5PM. M-F. 40. hrs/wk.
